WAG and Walk: OCTOBER 2, 2016  1-3PM
WANTED: DOGS AND THEIR OWNERS!

Have you been meaning to spend more time with your dog now that the summer weather is starting to fade and cold storms are only a forecast away?   Well put aside  those winter feelings and give your dog a treat this Sunday  by walking with him or her in the Reading Lions Club 1st Annual “Wag and Walk” Fundraiser starting at the Wood End School Field in Reading.

The Lions have mapped out three separate walking routes of different duration depending on the ability and enthusiasm of the dog (and their master!).  Lions Club members will be on hand to help guide you through the Reading Town Forest and find your way back to the ample parking area at 85 Sunset Rock Lane.  Please wear sturdy sneakers or other appropriate footwear for the dirt paths we will be traveling.  And of course dogs must be kept on leash at all times.  The event will run from 1-3 PM  on Sunday October 2nd so come anytime during the two hour window.  The suggested donation of $10  will go toward the Service Dog Project Inc. which provides service dogs for those with visual and other impairments.

Special bandanas will be distributed to the first 100 dogs registered, so don't forget to give your dog some extra special attention this Sunday by participating in the Lions Club "Wag and Walk".
